Meet the Director: Kimberly

Hello and welcome!

 

My name is Kimberly Johnson, and I am honored to serve as the Director of St. Philip Preschool. I joined St. Philip Preschool in 2022 and bring over 30 years of experience working with children and families in both early childhood Christian education and the public school system.

 

I began my career as a preschool teacher, then spent time in the public school system, including working in special education with early childhood and elementary aged children. I later returned to early childhood education in an administrative role and now serve as a Director, a role I truly love.

 

I have a deep love for children and a true passion for early childhood education. It brings me so much joy to watch young children learn, grow, and discover the world around them. I believe these early years are incredibly important as they lay the foundation for confidence, curiosity, and a lifelong love of learning.

 

At St. Philip Preschool, we are committed to creating a warm, engaging, and nurturing environment where children feel safe, loved, and encouraged each day. Our program is centered around caring relationships, meaningful learning experiences, and sharing the love of Jesus in all that we do. We strive to support each child’s development academically, socially, emotionally, and spiritually in a joyful, positive, and purposeful way.

 

I truly love what I do, and it is such a blessing to be part of a community that values children, families, and faith.
